NOTICE >>I'm going to be re-doing the information on here right after school ends, as I've gotten more into the swing of his character, and there are probably many things that are no longer correct on here, and I also want to get some better organization going in this. :/ <<

Age:16 as it has been that many years since his awakening, but the majority of his mind is much, much older.
Gender: Male
Sex: He is sexless
Species: Dream-shifter: A creature made from what seems to be pure energy that is able to manipulate it's body into different forms and travel through the dream plain.
Birthday: September 26th, As he doesn't know what day correlates to earth time for his awakening, he goes with the date he entered the mansion instead.
Length of stay at the Mansion: 1 year

Typo: (whiteish cat-like creature) A guide(species that helps guide dream walkers and shifters through the dream plains and translate for them on new planets) who has lost the ability to safely open rifts to just from world to world. He used to be inseparable from iLo, but now that ilo's full consciousness has awoken, he keeps a bit of distance. He still translates for iLo, but he prefers to limit his time with the shifter. Maybe it's an old grudge?

Wifeye:(Bat-creature) He is the sort of 'guard-dog' to iLo's room. He monitors the door and only allows him and his roommate in without stated reason. He is meant to keep intruders out, and the pink elephants in.

Good basic facts to know first: iLo is from a different planet, which technically makes him an alien, although do not associate him with 'little green men' or the ones from the movie alien. Yes, he is not from this world, but the world he came from was very similar to Earth in many respects, and if you ask him nicely he might even tell you about it. His friend and pet Typo does his job very well and translates for iLo. By now, iLo knows enough English to communicate basics(and possibly a little more) without the help of his guide, but he still prefers not to be out of the guide's mental reach.

Personality: He tends to act like a gentleman when first met, but his personality sways to different sides depending on the people he's around. To those who are innocent, they receive the more innocent side of him, but to those who manipulate others, he likes to return the favor. He is extremely curious about the psychology of pain, and he will usually satisfy it when with the more vile creatures and residents. At the moment, he very easily switches from being more innocent to sociopathic, as during the tournament, a dormant part of his consciousness awoke, and now the two halves are having to adjust to working together. It is not two different minds, mind you, just different personalities that are more defined individually than they should be.

Curiosity: iLo is a bit of an intellectual, and is always thinking over things. One thing that sets him off on a disturbing note is his research into pain. If brought onto the subject, he can eventually loose himself to his thoughts and his curiosity will take over. Anyone not already stated in his mind as a friendly that would give him a negative long-term consequence should he touch them is at risk to be the one to satisfy his curiosity.

Previously at the Mansion:iLo entered the mansion right after a catastrophe that caused his guide to loose the ability to create full portals and left him with a good part of his consciousness dormant. He entered with a good amount of fear, but over the year he had been at the mansion he has grown accustomed to it, and it feels like home. During the Mouth Tournament, he became severely injured, and due to his energy depletion and then a sudden jump from the orange, then he fully awoke again. His other consciousness tried to snuff out the more innocent side of him, but after receiving another blow, which evened out the score, then both reluctantly agreed to share dominance, and over time they should merge into one personality and consciousness.

A little biology and back story: Dream shifters are created through a process, where a ripe mind hits a certain point at the right time and then the creature slowly starts to turn from that of a (in earth's case, carbon-based) being into that of almost pure energy. Their bodies still relate to all the laws of physics, except the fact that injuries don't' work the same with them. Small, surface wounds will still bleed and usually the shifter will let it alone and let it heal on it's own time. Larger injuries not only release blood, but also raw energy leaks out until the shifter can reform the body's shell. Although they can transform and shift between forms, their minds still retain the set instincts of when they were just flesh and blood, meaning that they do not have the mind to keep their energy stockpiled around their consciousness without a physical form, and also that their physical forms are immediately(but temporarily) effected by injuries. If not caught, large injuries can put them into a temporary locked state, in which they can't transform and all injuries must heal on their own time. This is caused by shock to their mind that reverts them back to natural instinct, causing their bodies to temporarily become as close to normal as they could get. Every bit of energy matters to shifters, and there could be a whole small book written about them, but those are the basics and need to knows for the next part.

As dreamshifters are made from existing creatures, they have no need to reproduce, and so they don't waste any energy on things related to such a process. It is possible though, for them to create a form of 'offspring'. These are created from dream orbs, physical manifestations of collected energy specifically from dreams. The orbs are a form of collected half-consciousnesses, and when a shifter that has an energy signature(sort of like DNA, only it's the wavelength at which energy within them moves, which is unique to each shifter) that compliments a specific orb, then they can then provide the orb with a stable shell and give it a spark of outside energy so that it's consciousness will start to fully form. They are not 'legitimate' children though, as the orb then starts absorbing other energies from the world around it. It observes the world and creates a form that will allow it to best survive in it's first 10 years of life(it's stabilizing period), and when it actually awakens it has a fairly short time period where it is getting used to it's physical body before it is able to go off on it's own.(the actual start of an awakened dream orb is still in development, and so some information may be changed and many plot holes may still be found.)

In basics, iLo is a 2nd gen. dream shifter, made from a dream orb, and he is, in a few words, screwed up. Due to the time he was prevented from finding his counterpart, his consciousness began to unnaturally form before gaining another energy signature. This created a conflict when he found an energy signature, as his base consciousness began to grow like it should. This created two separate personalities in him, each fighting to be dominant, and the fights usually resulted in one becoming dormant until it's energy reserve was tapped into.

The black substance: iLo, through many experiments, managed to find a way to implant the raw dream energy he collects into physical objects, turning them into a black substance mold able to his will. When fully converted, the substance will actually turn white when in contact with him, and when not fully converted it stays black, but is not easily manipulated in the slightest. His wristbands and the black rings on his collar are made of this substance.

Transformation: Due to his full awakening, he is now able to transform more freely, although usually more for defensive reasons as it still takes a large amount of energy. His most favored forms are those of a wingless dragon-type creature, and a cat. Who knows, maybe he'll come up with more down the road?

RELATIONSHIPS The good, the bad, and the ugly, and hopefully kept up to date

Alyce: iLo's girlfriend, they have an emotional-based relationship. He would do literally anything for her.
Razori: iLo had quite a few verbal power struggles with her, and he assumes there are many more to come. She seems to be attempting to make him her puppet, but he just sees it as pointless repetitive attempts to have him under her thumb. He doesn't understand how nothing he ever says seems to make it through her head.
M Razori: He hopes she doesn't get caught with him when he has another 'curiosity' lapse. She's much to fragile.
Kazu: One word. Rematch.
Zenith: A friend, although he doesn't see her that much.
Everett: He is a bit confused as to if he should still call him a friend, as they hardly ever see each other even in passing. But there's not doubt that he's welcome to stop by any time.
